Egypt Unanimously Selected to Host the 7th World Conference on Constitutional Justice in 2028

In a new international achievement and a step that reflects the growing global recognition of Egypt’s leading role, participants in the World Conference on Constitutional Justice, held in Madrid, Spain, from 28 to 31 October 2025, unanimously selected the Arab Republic of Egypt to host the next edition of the Conference in 2028.

This decision comes in appreciation of the distinguished status established by the Supreme Constitutional Court of Egypt at both regional and international levels, and its pivotal role in supporting constitutional justice and advancing its framework to strengthen the protection of the rule of law.

The decision also reflects the increasing momentum of Africa’s contributions to the consolidation of constitutional justice and the safeguarding of fundamental rights and freedoms across its societies, in a manner that supports the global path of legal and institutional reform.

Egypt extends its sincere gratitude to Arab, African, and international partners from all continents for their support and confidence, reaffirming its full readiness to organize a conference that meets expectations and contributes to shaping new visions to advance constitutional justice and promote human rights globally.

The General Secretariat of the Union of Arab Constitutional Courts and Councils (UACCC) participated in the conference with a distinguished delegation. The delegation was represented by His Excellency Justice Boulos Fahmy Iskandar, President of the Supreme Constitutional Court of Egypt and Secretary-General of the Union (UACCC), as well as His Excellency Justice Dr. Abdelaziz Salman, Vice President of the Supreme Constitutional Court of Egypt and Deputy Secretary-General of the Union (UACCC).

Additionally, the Supreme Constitutional Court of Egypt was represented by His Excellency Justice Dr. Mohamed Emad El-Naggar, Vice President of the Supreme Constitutional Court, and His Excellency Justice Khaled Raafat, Vice President of the Supreme Constitutional Court.
